Porn Search Engines

Google, Yahoo, and MSN are not optimized to help you find erotic content. While some surfers are content to search for visual erotica in a semi-random fashion, so called 'porn' search engines can make the job more rewarding. And I say so-called porn, because most of what is out there is erotica, not porn.

Xahara.com was one porn search engine that dissappeared a while ago. Too bad, it was decent.

Eonsex Porn Search is a new kid on the block. It is in the beta-testing phase and has a few kinks, but is starting to shape up nicely.

XXX Thumb Search has a nice text-based search. It is good for finding content about a particular model or erotica provider. It is only so-so when looking for imagery about particular topics, because it seems to rely on key-words on the page, and it is easy to add unrelated words to a TGP gallery page.

Darlina.com had one of the better category indexes of free thumbnail galleries, but lately it hasn't updated that often. Like to pretend that you (or your partner) is a pony? There's a category for that at Darlina. Along with several hundred others. Although Darlina doesn't show image previews, there is a software work-around I will write about soon that allows you to visually preview all the links on any given page.

Perversius is similar to Darlina; the page layout is not as straightforward, but motivated surfers can figure it out.

AskJolene.com is a decent search engine that screens the material in their index to a certain degree - making it less likely you will be caught in the all too common tease-loop of clicking on a preview, only to be taken to another page showing previews, which only take you to other previews. Again, there are some easy software fixes for that nonsense, which will appear soon here at aphrodisiology.com.

PicHunter.com and 88by88.com have ok categories of thumbnail galleries - not great, but worth checking out if you aren't familiar with them.
