Privacy policy

What you read about your love life is nobody else's business. We built this site so you can explore desire, pleasure and sexual health quietly and without judgement.

This page explains, in plain words, what little we collect and how we look after it. Questions are always welcome at info@aphrodisiology.com.

We keep it to the bare minimum:

• your email address, only if you join our Sunday letter
• your name, email and message, only if you write to us
• simple, anonymous visit numbers, such as which pages are popular and roughly which country visitors come from
• short-lived technical logs, such as browser type and IP address, used only to keep the site safe

We use your details only to:

• send you the letter you asked for
• answer your messages
• see which guides help people most, so we can write better ones
• protect the site from spam and attacks

We never sell your information. We never tell advertisers what you have been reading. Ever.

Our emails arrive from a neutral sender name with subject lines that will not make you blush if someone glances at your screen.

You do not need an account to read anything here, and you are welcome to browse in a private window.

We use a handful of small cookies that keep the site working and count visits anonymously. You can block or clear them in your browser at any time.

If we ever want to use cookies for advertising, we will ask you first and respect your answer.

A few trusted services help us run the site: our web host, our email provider and an anonymous visit counter. They may only use your data to do that job for us, and they must keep it safe.

Newsletter details stay until you unsubscribe. Messages you send us are deleted after 12 months. Technical logs are cleared after 30 days.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• show you what we hold about you
• fix anything that is wrong
• delete it completely
• stop sending you emails

Just write to info@aphrodisiology.com and we will sort it within 30 days. You can also contact your local data protection authority if you are unhappy with how we handled something.

This site is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone younger, and if we find we have, we delete them straight away.

If we update this policy, the date at the top will change. If it is a big change, we will tell newsletter readers too.
